World Congress

53rd World Congress

The Academia do Bacalhau will host its 53rd World Congress in Toronto, Canada. Planning is now underway for a multi-day program that includes Toronto, Hamilton, Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake wine country, Mississauga, and a full Toronto day. The main Congress dinner is currently targeted for October 2, 2026 at Renaissance by the Creek.

We are building the program in stages so guests can register interest, follow the draft itinerary, and select the activities they may want to join. Some guests may arrive earlier, with planned welcome movements beginning around Monday, September 28, and optional group activities continuing through Saturday, October 3.
